At the moment we are exploring several research areas:
Research
Micro/Nano-electromechanical systems are broadly used on several industries such as automotive, aerospace, consumer, medical among others. We work on the development of MEMS/NEMS for key applications from the idea up to the characterisation.

The development of novel high–speed transistors, non-volatile memories, sensors among other electronic devices are highly required. We reckon that 2D materials can be the new holy grail for the semiconductor industry. We are working on the development of several nano-devices by using Graphene, MoS2 and BN-h.

Industry 4.0 is allowing us to develop state of the art devices for a broad variety of fields ranging from medical, buildings, aerospace up to those to improve everyones life such as in smart watches, mobile phones or fridges. We are developing key applications to enhance buildings security, develop smart cities among others.
The research area focuses on clinic models where modern illneses such as stress, anxity and depression are analysed due to the mental processes can be severelly affected such as memory, learning processes, attention, motivation and executive functions.

Our main aim is to develop novel semiconductor structures based on «exotic materials» such as graphene, MoS2 or BN-h. We have a strong background in numerical analysis, fabrication and characterisation process.
