I am a Professor (Associate) at the Electro-Photonics Department at Universidad de Guadalajara CUCEI campus in México. You can find my citation metrics at Google Scholar, Research Gate. Before Joining the Universidad de Guadalajara as an Associate Professor in 2016, I was an Assistant Professor in Mechatronics at UANL in México from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, I was a postdoc at Echerkon technologies for solar cell applications. Also, I was part of a FP7 NEMSIC project research team for biosensor devices. In december 2011, I obtained my PhD in Nano Research Group at University of Southampton. My supervisor was Prof. Hiroshi Mizuta. My Research was focused on the development of a high-speed non-volatile memory based on two disimilar technologies such as NEMS and MOS. Such hybrid device was a breakthrough due to the capabilities that it offered such as P/E speed on the nsec order. Before enrolling to my PhD I did my Master’s degree at the National Research Centre for Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (INAOE) in México in 2006.
